Delete your GrahaMitra account

GrahaMitra is an astrology app by Sriram Arivazhagan. You can permanently delete your account and everything in it at any time, either from inside the app or from this page. Both do exactly the same thing.

From the app

Open GrahaMitra and go to Settings.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
Type DELETE to confirm.

If you no longer have the app, sign in here with the phone number on your account. We'll text you a one-time code to prove the number is yours, then delete the account.

What is deleted

Everything: your phone number, name, gender, date, time and place of birth, charts, daily readings, reports, chat questions and answers, the notes the app kept from your chats, life events and predictions, family members and their charts, compatibility reports, support requests, credits and credit history, subscriptions and payment records, the login codes sent to your number, and the notification registration for your phone. It is a real deletion, not a deactivation.

What is kept, and for how long

Server logs, for up to 30 days. They record requests and errors with an IP address, and never your birth details or chat messages.
Database backups, for up to 7 days. Our daily backups roll over after 7 days, so your data is gone from them within a week. They are never used except to recover from a failure.
A record that the deletion happened, if our support team did it for you: the date, the reason given, and the last 4 digits of the phone number. Nothing else about you. This shows who made changes to accounts, and it is kept for as long as the service runs.

Can't receive the code? If you no longer have the phone number, we can't verify that the account is yours from this page. Email support@grahamitra.co.in with the number on the account and we'll verify it's yours another way before deleting anything. If you still have the app installed, you can also use Settings → Support.
